The free-of-charge trading service includes the following functionalities:

More than 20 different market places in Europe and Northern America including the largest stock exchanges from Lisbon to Helsinki are available to you.

Trading services will change on 1 October 2019
Our current trading services will change on 1 October 2019. Saver’s service and Investor’s service, which are based on the packaging of services, will be replaced by one free trading service where you can add additional services of your choice. Thus you can choose the additional services according to your needs and thereby will not have to pay for anything you do not need. The brokerage fees for stock exchange trading will remain unchanged.
You also need a custody service for your securities
Nordea's safe custody services are intended for shares and bonds of Finnish and foreign listed companies that are in book-entry form (i.e. paperless) and for Finnish securities in paper form.
You can open the safe custody service in Netbank or at a Nordea branch.
The safe custody service includes:
- Payment of returns to your account.
- Management of share issues and other corporate events. You will receive notifications on corporate events, such as share issues, concerning your assets kept in custody, and we will deal with these events according to your instructions.
- Reporting on your assets. At least once a year, you will receive a report on the securities you have placed in custody, events concerning your assets and the returns paid on your assets. The most convenient way for you to keep track of your assets and their value is through a trading service in Netbank.

*Additional purchasing power means that an order can be executed even if there were not enough cash at the time of the order.
To avoid overdrawing the account, you must ensure that the authorisation hold is sufficient at the time the account is debited. Fees for European stock exchange trading transactions are debited within two banking days (t+2) and fees for North-American transactions within three (t+3) banking days from the conclusion of the trade. A rule of the thumb is that the money should be in the account in the evening preceding the debiting.
The additional purchasing power amounts to EUR 20,000. Additional purchasing power is used in stock exchange trading except for when the traded asset is a certificate, warrant or turbowarrant.

When brokerage fees exceed 150€ per quarter, you will get access to additional services free of charge for the next quarter.*
- Real-time prices, one bidding level, automatically updated (streaming) Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen. The order book shows the top level for the instruments quoted on the Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen stock exchanges. The prices will be updated automatically.
- Real-time prices, five bidding levels, a snapshot, Oslo. The order book shows the five best levels for the instruments quoted on the Oslo stock exchange. The prices are updated when you click the Update button.
- Real-time prices, one bidding level, automatically updated (streaming) Oslo. The order book shows the top level for the instruments quoted on the Oslo stock exchange. The prices will be updated automatically.
- Real-time prices, one bidding level, a snapshot, USA. The order book shows the top level for the instruments quoted on the New York stock exchange and on Nasdaq. The prices are updated when you click the Update button.
- Real-time prices, one bidding level, automatically updated (streaming) USA. The order book shows the top level for the instruments quoted on the New York stock exchange and on Nasdaq. The prices will be updated automatically.
- Nordea Markets’ corporate analyses and Company snapshots. In support to your investment decision, you will get the nearly 300 most important Nordic companies analysed by Nordea Markets with recommendations and target prices as well as Company snapshot corporate reviews of non-Nordic companies.
- Nordea Markets’ morning report. Our morning report gives you an insight into movements in the equity markets, company news, and key market drivers of the day. The report also includes Nordea’s Global model portfolio. The morning report is published daily from Monday to Friday before stock exchanges open.
- Additional purchasing power for stock exchange trading
* The quarter are based on the calendar year Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sept and Oct-Dec. You can follow your brokerage fees in Norde Investor.
Market places for trading
Using your Saver's or Investor's service in Netbank, you can trade in the following market places and equities traded in the same currency as that of the stock exchange.
In both of the trading services, price information from Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen is displayed in real time. In the Investor's service price information in real time from Oslo stock exchange is also displayed and, with an additional fee, price information in real time from USA.
